Installing a game.. with no cd drive

Wanting to install a few games on my EEE PC 1000H But the lack of cd drive is awkward.

Is the only way to copy the discs, make images of them and use daemon tools or the likes or is there a simpler way?

Games installing from multi discs arent making it any easier!

I have an external hard drive but the message "insert disc 2" seems forever present no matter where I put the files

When the DVD drive packed in on my PC recently I just created an ISO file on my laptop and copied it to a USB key...

I'd personally use an ISO image with Daemon tools.

If not then share the drive over the network as suggested above.

I'm going with the CD Image + Daemon tools crowd [they have cookies].

It's pretty easy to do and you also just made yourself a backup at the same time. Half my game discs look like someone tested their new angle-grinder on them.

sometimes dont need to bother with making ISOs, just copy setup files onto a USB drive or something.
