installing a new gpu

hey there,

just got my ati 4890, upgrading from my 7900gtx....

would you remove all nvidia drivers and remanants from uninstall programs first, then run driver cleaner in safe? Or is just using uninstall programs OK?

Please advise how best to install the software for a new gpu...

I have done it many times before but just wanted to know what the best way was?

I'd clean out the old drivers as best I could, so use drive cleaner.

Then just run the ati driver .exe from their website for the 4890 and voila!
