Good evening guys

I am trying to upgrade my 6 yearold ocuk custom built machine, but Im stuck.

Im upgrading the gfx for a 2nd time, 8500gt -> 9800gt, but I get black screen upon boot and 4-6 beeps.

Firstly I uninstalled nvidia drivers at the control panel, winxp. Restarted computer and turned off.
I unplugged the 8500gt and plugged the 9800gt. I have plugged a 6 pin pciexpress vga plug (got 1 spare) into the 9800gt, and I have plugged the 9800gt's custom zalman fan into the mobo (asus a8n-e)

Basically my problem is the screen is blank, not even a bios, and I get the beeps. My computer specs are

Asus a8n-e mobo
Tagan TG480-u22 480W ATX2.01 psu
Zotac 9800gt synergy edition

For reference I have all the mobo and psu documentation, but I struggle to make sense of it. I wonder am I plugging the wrong power in the gfx card? Maybe the fan power into the wrong mobo slot? Maybe its incorrect driver procedure? Any help will be much appreciated

Regards,

Edit: Ok the graphics card requires 26a on the 12v rail, yet on 1 vga cable i only have 20, i need to combine my 2 vga cables to make 28a. Hypothetically I hope that will fix things but still I dont know until I try, any criticism and advice welcome
