It's been a long time since I played around with any kind of Linux so I'm after some assistance please.

I need to install and learn the Tučňák contest logging software.

I've been advised that I should do this within Ubuntu so I've downloaded and installed it in a Virtual Machine.

It's all set up and running but (and this is going to sound really n00by) I really have no idea what I should be doing to even install the program!

Installation instructions are here and the download page is here. Can someone help me with a step-by-step idiots guide of exactly what I need to do to get it installed and working please. I'm sure it's a simple procedure but I don't know where to even start.

Thanks :)

Oh good stuff, I added those two lines as said on the instructions and then ran the apt-get command and it installed 2.35. Super duper, thanks.

Now I just need to work out usage but that should be straightforward :)
