Hey everyone, I have cut out a window for the sides of a case and need a way to fix it into place with out drilling holes and using screws.

I have been looking for some kind of rubber window edge molding that can hold the perspex window onto the sides that i cut out, the only stuff that i can find is really stiff and thick. I found some that is the right stuff but its only sold in america. its called Slim C-Strip Window Molding but i cant find any, google is no help. :(

can anyone point me in the right direction?

Do a google search for:

'Rubber Window Moulding with Locking Strip 1m'

Include the ' and '

it'll be the first link you get.

Ah, that's a shame. How about gluing or double sided tape? Use some thin blow-hole trim around the cut out to hide the bare metal?

Yeah I will probabily have to do that, although i dont know if there will be enough space for the window to be on the inside of the case . I am going to have to think hard lol might have been a bit ambitious

the window really needs to be screwed in, but SILICONE SEALANT would work; but can be awkward/ messy to apply...

i might not have a window.... not sure yet

but if i was going to fit a window, i'd go for hardened 4mm gray tint glass, because perspex scratches so easily... even if you're careful

i'm not really after a window, more like, a quick release side panel...like a door..........uuumm
