Installing additional memory for ASUS M2N4 SLI

I currently have 2 x 1Gb DDR2 PC5300 sticks in my Asus M2N4 SLI board. There are an additional two free slots in the board and i was thinking of adding additional memory.

Could I buy 2 x 2 Gb PC2 6300 sticks and install them with the existing two PC5300s or do I need to stick to the same speed (PC5300) and the same size as existing (1Gb each stick)?

If you buy higher speed ram than what is already in the system ALL the ram will run at the slowest speed.

as to size, you can pop different sized moduals in the board at once.

Tbh i think you would be better off selling the ram you have and getting THIS set
