Hi everyone,

So I got an Aquaero 5 LT as a present (Yay :D), but I cannot figure out how to install it.

The guide is useless, and I literally cannot find a guide anywhere on the internet... Please help!

I have the molex power, USB and RPM cable connected, but the fans ahve no power when connected. All of the supplies for these definitely work and I have tried different connections.

I have installed Aquasuite, but it is giving me nothing. All I can get is the default "demo" page on the overview pages. It is giving no indication of the Aquaero 5.

I am starting to think it is DOA, but can't help but feel I am missing something.

I'm pretty sure my one ran the fans at full speed until it was configured in the software. It only needs the Molex, the USB and the fans connected and any temperature sensors if you need them. Might be worth checking the Molex is in properly as they can be a bit of a pain sometimes.

Make sure to use the latest software from the site too as I found the software that came on the CD useless. I have my one set up to use software sensors and it works really well.

Software can be found here: https://aquacomputer.de/software.html

  • Attach the Aquaero to your case
  • Plug in your fans to headers 1-4
  • Plug in the USB. It must be the right way around! The end with two black wires should be at the end with the missing pin on your motherboard header.
  • Plug in the molex, make sure your system is off at this point.
  • Turn on your system, generally the fans 100% immediately.
  • Install the latest Aquasuite.
  • Open Aquasuite and click the tab on the left which says aquaero > System > Firmware update. run that.
  • Once it has beeped a few times re-open aquasuite, this time a set of options will appear under the aquaero tab which will give you full control.

Thanks so much you guys!

I'm pretty sure it is DOA, so I'm getting it replaced. The fans didn't start up at all and I pretty much did all of those steps (eventually), but because I didn't have any listed instructions I wasn't sure if I had missed something or not.

This sucks purely because I was really looking forward to using it :p I'll post an update with my experience of the replacement when it arrives.
