Installing an internal door lock

What a hassle. I never thought it would take me this long just to fit a door lock on an internal door. I spent hours trying to get it to fit. There must be an easier way that I am missing. The guy on youtube made it look so easy. But it took ages. :rolleyes:

Usually can do one in 15-20 minutes

No it was one with a lock. So i had to drill 6 holes with a 16mm and there was already an existing hole so had to scrape a lot out.

Ah! fitting a sash/ mortice lock, shouldn't take no more than 20-30 minutes to fit.
