Ok, i've just bought http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-074-GI to replace my old GTX 280 that died on me a few days ago. Just wondering if, because the new one is pre overclocked, do I need to go through and special procedures when installing? I used to use MSIAfterburner for the fan control but have uninstalled that. No other software apart from the Nvidia drivers should be left to effect the card now. Should I boot in safe mode and uninstall the old drivers and use what's on the CD first?
I've heard a few stories about some of these pre-clocked cards not working properly or the clocks being stock and so on so i'd like ot get it right first time. Not sure what to expect
Thanks for your time.

I didn't uninstall anything apart from MSI afterburner and upgraded to the Beta Nvidia drivers and it's running perfect, no hastle at all! Ran the MSI benchmark tool and all the clock speeds are as stated on the OC box and it seems stable so voltage seems correct.
The card goes from 3D 900MHz core clock to 2D 50.6MHz as opposed to my old GTX 280 that never quite knew what to do!
