Guys, this embarrasses me to ask but i just got to because im sure im missing somthing...

How do i install windows on a brand new build without a dvd drive?

Do i just download a copy of windows 10 on my latop, put it on a USB and then stick that in my new build, install it then apply a valid license?

Yes its been that long, i feel like grampa simpson"back in my day we had these places called shops and software came on little flat plastic discs we used to feed into the machine to make it work" lol

Yup.

Dowload from Microsoft directly. I had problems using the automatic usb option on their site so downloaded via the iso option and used rufus (great little program) to create a bootable usb.

Install initially with just the drive you'll be using to have the OS on, connect others up after - it saves a lot of hassle.

I also didn't activate straight away, I chose not having a code then did that once everything was hooked up.

Boot from usb and away you go.
