Installing AOL broadband?

Hi someone called me yesterday saying they were having problems setting up AOL broadband on there laptop, they have a DG834G router.

Would I be correct in assuming that all I have to do to setup internet access is to enter the aol username and password in the router just like any other ISP?

As the laptop works fine on my network, it should work fine on theres.

Well what do you lot reckon, it should be like installing normal broadband shouldnt it? With just using a aol password and username in the router, etc. right?

Yep, set the router up and connect through wireless or ethernet :cool:

Just open the router page and select automatic setup/detect/config. (or whatever it is), will do it all itself then, will just ask for the username/password to be entered after about 5 seconds, tis all i did with that router when i was on AOL.
