Installing case fans

Hi,

Just got my akasa amber fans (80mm) and im having trouble installing them. The holes were the screws go into on the casing of the fan have no thread on them, and I can't seem to make one with just the screws themselves.

Should these fans already come with threads on them?

They have no thread, the thread is created when you first put the screws in. A bit more elbow grease and you should be fine.

One trick to to make the tap while the fans are outside the case, then unscrew the screws again, put the fans into the case and attach them.

Or get some Arrowhead Softmounts..... vibration dampening, and no messing around with screws!

Stupid question but...How do you fit Arrowhead Softmounts?
Didn't seem to make any sense and I didn't want to force them.
