Installing GTA 4, need advice please

Hi folks,

Im selling my laptop atm, but as I'm not expecting it to sell straight away I'm thinking of installing a brand new copy of GTA 4 I have.

My question is, once Installed on my laptop, can I simply uninstall it and re install on my desktop after? or does it have some kind of in built protection to prevent me doing so?

I'm not bothered about playing it online, Literally just something to kill the time while I'm away from home lol

Please help :confused:

I'm fairly certain I remember an option to revoke the license when you uninstall it, you'll be fine!

GTA 4 on the PC actually has unlimited installs.

How many times can I install and uninstall GTA IV using the retail disc I purchased?

As many times as you would like, if using the retail disc version.

Just don't forget it will only work with one GFWL account.

Make sure you copy your xlive folder if u plan to backup your save I copied my gta save without the xlive and lost my save

Thanks for the heads up mate. Will do! I wouldn't have known lol, just had a quick blast. Nights away are never going to be boring again! the sounds of gunshots from the hotel rooms might not be the best idea though lmao

Quick tip: if you have performance issues, look online for the shadow resolution trick.
