hello, currently my only hdd (40gb) has windows vista on it, now i have umbuntu and suse on disk, and would like to try them out, what is the best way of doing this? i don't want to install linux and find that its destroyed my mbr and cannot enter vista, what would be the best way to make sure they both live happily together?

thank you

SuSE and Ubuntu will both install the Grub bootloader. This will overwrite the MBR and will automatically detect the other OS installations available to the machine, inculding Vista or XP if present. It will allow you to select which OS you'd like to install. Create a partition for it and install the Linux distribution of your choice.

hello there, well installed SUSE, which works well, and the bootloader appears, however whenever i try and log onto vista, all that comes up is the little loading bar, and the nothing else happens!
It just stays on that!

help!
