Hi

Well I've just installed server 2008 and do I really need to install mobo drivers from Intel? Seems fine without them I mean what difference is it going to make?

I would, you might find in the future that you want to use/ use a prog that needs, certain mobo devices to work that won't because you didn't install the drivers.

Does that make sense? lol

No offence, but I don't really get why you wouldn't want to install the drivers. This is especially true if you happen to have the disks. If it is something like a 56K modem I usually don't bother to install drivers (assuming the person isn't using it) and either disable it in device manager or remove the card.

Its basically improving system performance, may as well have it!

See it slows down performance here thats why I was asking, boot times get longer too.
