Installing motherboard in 750D

Hi,
Is it expected that when I put my motherboard on the standoff pin in 750D I had to littlebit push it to the left to get it alligned with other screw holes? (I had to use a little bit of force, not a lot, to move it maybe 1-1,5mm to right) I feel that If I would like to take motherboard off the standoff I would need to delicately push it towards left before lifting.

My mobo is maximus hero vii

it seems like the pin would push slightly the motherboard to one side.. and it just holds it in place even if I would put case down facing motherboard. mavity wouldnt take the mb because the pin pushes it slightly to one side.. is that expected?
