so im putting a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R into a Antec P182 Super Midi Tower Case and the case manual says to put in standoff screws. however, the mobo wont fit into the io plate with them in but it will without. the case already has seperators so the mobo doesnt lie on the case so should i leave out the standoff screws?

Some cases have them built in as a raised area in the correct spots. With clip in/screw in ones for non-standard layouts. Im guessing this is what you have.

You shouldn't need to add any additional standoff's for that board, the only reason to add standoffs is to fit boards like mATX as the pre-installed soldered ones are in the correct placements for a normal ATX motherboard - which the P35-DS3R is.
