Just a quick one,

I'm just about to update my graphic drivers (haven't done in about 6 months ) and was just wondering if I'd be alright to just install the new over the old ? Or would it be best to uninstall, reboot in safe-mode, run drive sweeper, reboot, install new drivers ?

Haven't done in such a long time I can't remember which is best

If its the same card, Just install them over the top, never had a problem doing it this way myself.

Just to be safe do a restore point before you install the new ones.

Uninstall, reboot, install new, reboot, job done. Generally I don't think you'd need to use a driver cleaning tool unless you switched to a different vendor (i.e. from Nvidia to ATI). I know I certainly haven't.

Installed new one's over the old and everything seems fine, if anything goes wrong I'll uninstall, reboots, etc..

Cheers.
