Hi guys,

I bought an Asus r9 270x yesterday and will be installing it tomorrow. Been I while since I replaced my GFX cards, currently running 2x 4890 HDs.

I guess it's just as simple as taking my old two out and plugging the new ones in? As far as drivers go, can I just uninstall the old ones before I unplug them? Does anyone know of any good driver sweep software?

Thanks.

I have never used any extra software removal for my drivers when changing the gpu, I would uninstall the old drivers, remove old cards, install new card and download the latest drivers from AMD.

Yeah that would have been my approach to be honest. Thanks for confirming.

Im currently using my i4770k graphics whilst waiting for r9 290. Will I have to uninstall my intel graphics drivers too or will I just need to plug gpu in and play?
