Installing New Graphics Card

Hi,

Recently bought the Radeon HD 5450 video card for my newly built computer, and I was wondering how exactly do I go about setting it all up?

My motherboard is this - https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-233-GI

It has integrated graphics on it at the moment.

Firstly, will I need to uninstall the old graphics drivers from my integrated board?

Then, unplug everything, open up the case, disconnect integrated graphics and plug in new card? If so, where do I do this? Will the ports line up with my I/O plate? Do I need to hook it up to my PSU, if so which connector?

Then obviously boot up, and install new drivers off CD Rom.

Are there any videos out there that would help me through the process?

Can anyone shed any light on this for me?

Thanks in advance.

Tom

Do I need to take anything off motherboard to fit the new card in?

If not, won't I have two HDMI ports, two VGA ports etc.

Ok, thanks for the response.

So where will my new card go? In terms of getting the connectors to come out the back of the case?

Does it just slot into the mobo like RAM modules do?
