Installing new GTX 970 over 680 help please.

Thanks to the people on this very forum, I have a new MSI GeForce GTX 970 arriving Monday.

Quick question, Does this use the same drivers as my old 680 ? Or should I uninstall every thing. Remove card, pop new one in and do a fresh reinstall ?

I also have the geforce experience installed.

Use the latest drivers.

In fact do a fresh install so its all nice.

Just a heads up, when I installed my 970 last week (also replacing a 680 on latest drivers), for some reason it knocked out my sound card drivers and I had to re-install those. Took me a little bit to figure that one out. Just mentioning it just in case

I fitted TitanXs in place of GTX 980s without reinstalling the drivers.

It took 3 or 4 reboots to get everything working properly and it would have been quicker if I had done a proper driver reinstall.

Fresh driver install saves time.
