Hi

I'm currently running Windows Vista on my laptop and in short, i hate it. It came with the laptop but luckily i have a version of Window 7 on disk.

I want to know what would be best way to install Win 7 to the current primary partition (i.e. replace Vista) and not to any other separate/secondary partition (i.e. dual boot), which i remember happed last time i attempted this?

Thanks in advance.

How big is the hard drive you have in? The best way is just delete the paritions it currently has and create them from new and then just install Windows 7 onto the first partition.

150GB. Will it let me delete the primary partition as it's obviously the one in use, i'm assuming need to do via the boot menu?
