Hi,

I need some advice its been a few years since i've had to do this. Currently have a 1 single HDD in my machine with the windows installed on it.

I have a new 1TB SSD i want to install and make it the primary drive with everything on to load faster and game faster. What is the simplest way of doing it? Am i going to have to wipe it and then install windows onto onto the SSD?

Can i get some advice please?

Thanks,

I think most people will advise clean install. Download the windows of your choice, make a USB bootable drive. Disconnect the hdd and connect the ssd, install, then reconnect the hdd and transfer any files off the hdd you need.

If you dont want to start again use Macrium Reflect to clone the drive
