Installing Orange Box when already have HL2

I've got HL2 installed & an active steam account.
I've bought the orange box & want to install that & then sell my original copy of HL2.
Is my original copy of HL2 tied to the steam account?

yea, you would have to sell your steam account along with it.. which is dodgy at best

You can 'give' it away.

Strictly speaking trading accounts is forbidden so you'll have to get the orange box and give the additional HL2 and episode 1 should you want to as suggested.
