Hi does anyone know how to install the original bios back over a newer version?

I have the asus a8n sli deluxe and updated the bios - but now it wont let me push the volts as high as it used to?

so now i want to revert back to the original bios - how do i do this?

cheers

IIRC the ASUS utility won't let you go back to an earlier BIOS, so you have to go the floppy route.
Dunno what would happen if you re-named the older one and did it via the ASUS utility.

The floppy route is http://www.bootdisk.com/ (Driver Free Disk For BIOS Flashing ) then look at the manual.

I wanted to restore a previous bios on my Premium, after updating to 1009 from 1006 i couldnt overclock. Flashed to 1006 from dos and still couldnt overclock. So i reset the bios with the jumper and all is fine now. Just try reseting with the jumper it might revert back to a previous version.
