Installing OS to Laptop with no CD-Drive?

Hi guys, ive had the above lovely job dropped on me, is there an easy way of doing this with a memory key or something?

Think you can do installs across networks like when using Norton Ghost but im not that in the know about it myself. Dont think it would be possible with a memory key.

It is possible to download and apply an image over the network via PXE and tftp etc. However this depends on you having an image pre-prepared and a method of applying this image to said host machine, no matter what method you use.

tbh if its a once-off you're probably better sourcing an external USB CD-drive and installing what that.

Do you know anyone who has a usb to ide cable to connect a cd by usb?
