Installing Photoshop CS4 Trial...

... and I get this message come up:

"Setup has encountered an error and cannot continue. Contact Adobe Customer Support for assistance."

Googled for a possible solution but could not find anything which works.

I am using Vista 64bit Home Premium edition. Anyone have any ideas or something similar that has happened to them?

Any feedback appreciated

Are you installing from the retail DVD? I'm not accusing you of being a pirate or anything; I've just heard of similar problems with dodgy copies.

maybe the download has become corrupted. you could always try redownloading again.

How far does it get before it stops? What sort of spec is the machine?

Do you have any vaguely Adobe related programs running? Have you closed WLM/MSN Messenger, IE/Opera/FF/Chrome/Safari? Have you tried re-downloading? I'm not sure if the trial contains the 64-bit version, but you could try selecting not to install that.....I've heard of a few problems with it.
