installing pygame help

Hi all,

Ok, I've got Ubuntu running on my Netbook as a dual boot and I've been lookng at some python tutorials on RasPi website however, I need to install PyGame but can't for the life of me figure out how.

It's not in the software centre, i've checked the website out it it links to packages but not sure which is needed or how to go about installing them.

Any help for a noob?

EDIT: managed to download 1.9.1 release tar.gz just got to figure out the next step

thanks, I had to use synaptic as part of a tutorial so knew how to access it

Turns out pygame is already installed d'oh!

I'll get used to this eventually
