installing software even though using LUA on xp?

i have set my dads pc to have one password protected account with admin privileges for everyone to use if they really need it, but then the main accounts as limited user accounts.

trouble is that the users want to install simple software and are finding every now and again it gets annoying being unable to install it.

such as they like the wallpaper changer scrollwall, but unfortunately only admin rights accounts can install it.

is there any way around this e.g. putting them to admin, installing software, then back to lua?

There sure is.

There is shift+right click ---> Run as..., but that is pretty limited.

Google MakeMeAdmin.

IIRC, the default is an Administrator Command Prompt. I edited the script to make it pop up an Explorer shell, instead.

Just remember to revert to limited user by shutting down the windows properly, in reverse order. Otherwise the elevated account will remain elevated.
