I've bought a new Android phone, and can't get Spotify to install with an icon in my apps list.

I'm logged in to the Google ac my old phone used.

If I go to Play Store on the new phone, and search for Spotify, it says "Installed on all devices", but only shows my old phone. I can then Open it and use Spotify, but it doesn't install it with an app icon in my apps list.

How do I sort this?

Thanks

I'm moving from a Motorola G5 Plus to a Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro.

Yes I can see Spotify in Settings / Apps / Manage Apps.

I've had a quick look into it, and at the moment I'm thinking uninstall it, then:

Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store.

Tap Storage, then Clear Cache and Clear Data.

Then reinstall it.

It that best, or is there something quicker?

Thanks

I don't think you need to reinstall the app. I don't suggest clearing cache and data for the Play store either.

Is there a little arrow above the dock section of the home screen? If you swipe up, does that bring up the app drawer? Spotify might be there.

I've gone into the phone's settings, navigated to "Home screen," and selected "With app drawer".

Now I have a little arrow at the bottom of the home screen to open the app drawer.

When I click it, I can now see Spotify, so that's good.

I also now see the Spotify icon in the standard list of my home screen. However, two other app icons I installed have disappeared??

How do I get the app icon onto the home screen if I can see it in the app drawer?

Thanks

I'm assuming it'll be like other phones, if you hold the icon on the app drawer, you should be able to drag it to the main home screen.
