Installing Thermalright True...

I personally screwed the bolts down until they wouldn't go any farther.

Make sure you are using the correct bolts though as there are normally 2 sets provided.

I can twist mine slightly against the chip. If it worries you, a couple of washers can be used to increase the force downwards. You might still be able to twist it though, quite a lot of leverage available.
Temperatures were always excellent even while able to twist the heatsink

Mines screwed down enough so the bolts have come through the other side but they don't touch the motherboard tray. Iirc you cant apply too much pressure to the CPU anyway as there is a washer type thing on that heatsink that stops you over tightening. The screws will only screw the heatsink down so far.

Mine moves a little if i exert a bit of force on it, when tightening the screws i just turned them till they stopped. Always had excellent temps with this cooler.

just realised the little bar that holds the fan wires has snapped off on one side, what can i do to attach a fan on it?! :(
I simply moved it to the hole above the little tab on the bottom as this broke on mine as well, once the wires are under tension holding the fan itll be fine. Tbh im not a big fan of the wire clips, may replace them with the fan shrouds.

Well managed to fit it in the next slot up- cheers setter!! :)

Bummed that it broke - to be honest seems like a naff design, the bit that broke is absolutely tiny!

Gonna invest in a fan shroud I think now - will bug me otherwise.

Thanks for the help all! Bit worried that it rotates a teeny bit tho! lol
