Essentially, I've 2 hard drives, an older one and a brand new one, both with vista 64 on them. Now, I'm going to be running vista off the new one, and using the old one to install games and such on, because that gives you slightly better performance or something, right?
Steam was a piece of cake, since I just installed it into the same folder, updated it, and it detected all the games right away. But obviously, thats not going to work with other games which actually require an install. I know that windows needs registery entries and so on to play the games, so just running the .exe simply won't work, but is there a way to install then without installing them, as it were?
