installing virtual pc with xp pro on an imac

right i tried to setup virtual pc with windows xp pro, goes ok thru ok at the beginning, but then when i try to run the virtual pc, it comes up with error and error report and a close button, tried to uninstall it but still no luck as still on the machine, installed it again but still no luck, anyone have a similar problem?

you cant run virtual pc on intel macs, use either bootcamp or parallels.

yeah, a lot of my friends are running it on their Macs and they don't have any problems.

I plan to use Parallels as I don't want to reboot constantly to change OS, and only need to use 2 Win native programs.

Grab parallels, think there's still a demo out. It runs much faster than VPC ever did and if you install Virtue Desktops too you can have a nice transition between Windows and OSX ala http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKPNCQXxA7Y.

that is absolutely class!! what way does file sharing work between osx and windows?

can u view files in MyDocuments when in OSX and then view ** applications folder for example when in Windows?

Looks sweet. Might just swing me towards a mac again!
