Installing Vista on a Partition.

.. depends really. Putting it on a partition means you can keep it at the fastest part of the drive and it won't be affected so much by slowdowns as you fill up the rest of the drive. Also means you can organise backups more easily. Cons.. well if you fill up the space on the rest of the drive you might end up spilling into the OS drive if you decide to use up any spare there - bit messy, but really partitioning makes things easier in the long run.

Put the vista 64 installation disc in and it tells me that I have to boot from install media. So in advanced bios I've set it to boot from cdrom but nothing happens?
