Hi,
I have VIsta 64bit home basic installed on my Desktop PC - an OEM version. I also have a copy of Vista 32 Ultimate OEM that I used but no longer use (this is actually irrelvant to this question). I have a new laptop today that has 32bit Vista installed on it(a Dell). The question is, can I use the 64 bit Vista installation DVD to install 64 bit Vista on my laptop while using the 32-but vista code that came with the new laptop?? So I would have Vista 64 installed on two machines, one using the original 64-bit Vista code, the other using the new 32-bit premium code. Is this possible, or will 64-bit VIsta detect that I`m using a code from a 32-but licence.
Cheers,
Darren
