Installing W7 on to an SSD, what options to I need?

If you're on Vista/W7 you don't need to reinstall when going from IDE to AHCI, the registry change linked above works.

If you're going the other way it's a problem.

Thanks for that but I don't get that error message and I'm not risking my install at the moment.
