I got a washer dryer delivered yesterday but they wouldnt fit it (i had paid for fitting) because my hot/cold pipes/waste pipe have extenders on them so they refused to it

Anyway, seems pritty simple enough, I have connected the cold fill to the back of the machine and made sure thats not leaking, ok so far

the waste pipe however from the machine has the same end as the waste pipe extension, is there an adapter available ? if so do you think b&q would stock it ? (not a competitor i dont think if so sorry) or do i need something else?

The waste pipe extension plugs in under the sink ok, i have just moved into a new flat,

cheers

i just read a story that someone walked into an asda, picked up a hoover and took it to customer services and got a credit note refund, then bought a new hoover lol

I used to work in a store while i was a student and you'd be surprised how often this happens. Basically in the interest of customer service most stores will give a gift voucher refund without needing a receipt. All people do is steal something and then take it to the desk and say they bought it and want gift vouchers, unless you actually can prove 100% it's stolen there's nothing you can do about it.

The worst one i had was the guy who got all the gift vouchers in £1 bills. The store policy was to give cash change if someone pays by vouchers and the change is under £1. All the guy did was buy 20 travel packs of tissues at 25p each in separate transactions and pocketed £15 total in change.

Absolutely nothing you can do, if you argue they demand to call head office, who will order you to do it anyway.

Isn't this why stores have CCTV ?

or security guards or some sort of tagging system

doesnt suprise me though, we werent allowed to go running after people if u see them stealing something as company wasnt insured or something.
of course anyone who cared about the shop did but got a swift telling off from headoffice about leaving the shop lol.

done it, small bit of plastic cost me £4.80 from b&q aswell as two hose fastners for 80p, seriously all cost about 2p to make, nice little profit there for them
