I'm putting up my shower panels tomorrow, and feel confident that I know what I'm doing, but nevertheless would be worth hearing any experiences!

I'm panelling a 900mm quadrant shower, using two 2.4m x 1.2m boards that I will cut to size.

Shower tray is already in place, bedded in mortar and fixed to the floor.

1) Put spacers (approx 3mm) around the top edge of the shower tray.
2) Trial fit boards, and mark a vertical line where the future steel frame for the glass screens and doors will go.
3) Remove boards, pre-drill screwholes along the vertical line you just marked
4) Put a bead of silicon sealant down the inside of both edges of the corner profile.
5) Fit corner profile to one panel, offer assembly up to wall.
6) Immediately offer up other panel to profile and wall
7) Once both panels are in place, put screws in place through pre-drilled holes
8) Leave for 24 hours
9) Remove 3mm spaces, fill with generous silicon bead.
10) Enjoy!!

(I've omitted the drilling of boards for shower pipes for simplicity's sake).

So, the above takes knowledge from a number of different techniques for installing these boards, but any experiences?

Cheers!
