Installing Win XP using 8gb USB Stick

I searched the web to find a solution and came across PeToUSB program but it can't format my 8gb USB stick to continue the guide.

Can anyone help me work out how I can make my USB Stick a bootable/installable drive for installing XP?

Could give this article a try. For installing XP on an EeePC, but I imagine it'll work for any PC

Well I tested the build and the USB stick now boots to Windows Setup so it should hopefully work completely.

Well I rebuilt last night and it works a charm. Thanks Ascendancy. Only problem I had was with drivers but that's cos the laptop I was rebuilding is an old old Dell E1505 and had problems finding them.

Installing via USB stick is quick and easy now. Once again thanks for that link.
