I am thinking of installing a 128GB Samsung M.2 PCI-e 3.0 4 NVMe SSD in my desktop system (Gigabyte Z97X-SLI MoBo).
I get the impression that installing Windows 7 on one of these drives is problematical - is this true and if so, how does one get round the problem(s)?

I did the same last month. I went back from Windows 10 to Windows 7.

I ran it for a bit and decided to go back to windows 10

Good luck.
Sounds like a nightmare - and thanks for the advice :)

Install Windows 10 and use your 7 key to activate the upgrade.
I'm not with you here, use my Windows 7 key to "upgrade" from Windows 10 to Windows 7?
