Installing Windows 7 on my new computer

Hey there, not too sure if this is possible - I have a installation disc for Windows 7 Home Premium which I got for my current laptop about 2 years ago. I'm planning on purchasing a new computer, would I be able to simply install this on the computer - or would I have to buy another copy?

Was it a Retail boxed copy?

If yes then you can, but must remove it from the original laptop.

If it is OEM (Came with the system/Not Retail boxed) then the EULA states you cannot but there is nothing stopping you actually installing it on another system.

In either case it can only be installed on 1 system at a time.
