Installing Windows 7 professional over home premium

Hi, I'm waiting for a copy of Windows 7 Professional (upgrade edition) but want to build my computer today. I have access to a copy of home premium. If I install that (without activating) will it cause any problems installing win 7 prof when it arrives?

Delete the ei.cfg file from the disc you've got (put it on a USB stick, or make another DVD).

Install from that and choose Professional.

Type in the license key when you get it.
