installing windows on an overclocked machine

a couple of years ago I tried to install windows on a pc that was already overclocked...it didnt happen (errors etc) . I want to format and do a clean install of XP over the hols but dont really want to go through the overclocking process again.

Is it therefore possible to install xp on an already pc?

thanks for the replies. It was stable prime95 a few months ago but Ive been getting random crashes and reboots. Ill run it through again and reinstall.
