Installing Windows XP

AM having probs installing XP on a clean install. When it reboots after copying some files to the HD it just does nothing after the Post and refused to continue the install.

Am running with no peripherals and only one HD.

Ideas?

Have you tried taking out any unnessescary items - sound cards, modems, NICs, dvd drive, extra memory? etc...

Fixed it

Turns out i had to remove the partition and reformat the drive raw then as NTFS.
