Delete me
Ok, so i'm building a new PC for my dad and i've run into a hitch where i'm about to install XP but it only shows the install HD as 131069MB.
Now like any good soldier I applied a liberal amount of my Google-Fu skillz and have found that it's because Windows XP vanilla does not support 48-bit addressing, as this was introduced later in SP1. Thinking about it, the reason i've never run into this problem before ie because i've been running Raptors for ages which were all smaller than 100GB... and my dads old HD's were also around 120GB in size.
Problem is... I only have a Dell OEM XP install disk and it's not slipstreamable (i've tried in the past). Is there any way around this whatsoever, or do I HAVE to get myself a new install CD with SP2 integrated into it?
EDIT - Never mind I have resolved it by doing what I should have thought of originally...
