I have XP on a 320GB drive, single partition. I don't have enough space to copy all the data to other drives, then quick format, reinstall then copy back.
So is there a way of deleting C:\Windows, C:\root files, C:\Documents... and C:\Program Files before a install, leaving everything is alone for the install?

The data isn't that important and can be recovered, it's mainly just game installs which I don't want to install again since they take ages.

use a prograsm called partition magic to create a new partition without formatting then move all your important stuff over to the new partition. Once you have done this you can format and reinstall xp
