Installing XP over a lan

Got a pxi boot server running. Got the desktops to see the pxi boot server but when it gets to install WINNT.exe from the I386 file I get a stupid widows error saying it needs 550mb free local disk space to proceed. (which it has)

Any ideas? bandwith error? tweaking needed?

is the local disk partitioned and formatted already? it'll need to be if you're running winnt.exe from a command line...

Cheers Marc, had to run smartdrv.exe before I ran winnt.exe to show the partition, but your advice pushed me the right way

OMG that brings back memories when installing ME.....lol

I always forgot to add smartdrv.exe on the floppy when booting to do a fresh install.
