Installing XP Pro on Asus P8H67-M Intel H67 system

I understand there can be some problems in a clean install of XP-Pro on this system specifically XP not recognising the hard disk.

I would be grateful for further information on this.

It is probably the lack of a floppy drive. XP needs the SATA drivers supplied in the form of a floppy drive, it will not recognise a USB or CD drive for this purpose. There are some utilities which may help with making a virtual floppy drive or possibly a USB floppy may work. Alternatively you may be able to slipstream the drivers onto the install disk.
