Installing XP Pro SP2 : SATA

Hi,

Quick dumb question here, if I'm installing XP Pro (SP2) do I still need to provide SATA drivers?

That's what I though, so why is it that when I try an install a fresh version of XP on a freshly formatted HD that after the reboot I get "Error loading operatiting system" :confused:

Well the same machines works fine and I installed Vista on it about 30 minutes agao :confused:

Well the BIOS know to boot from the first SATA device so I'm not sure what else I can do!

I'm not using RAID, just a single SATA1 Raptor.

Solved it, changed the settings on the HD from "AUTO" to "LARGE" it now works, don't you just love computers sometimes :rolleyes:
