I've signed up with 123reg and using the instantsite festure to make my website, i've figured averything out apart from changing the main banner across the top of the page.

It says i have to use a graphics editor to edit the graphic files and a HTML editor to upload the content, but i'm not sure how i do this.

I have photoshop elements 2 can i use this as the graphics editor?
and what easy programs can i use to upload it?

Any website pros able to help me out here?

TIA

Picture below is what i have at the mo

Modify the image in CS elements or download the GIMP and use that.
For file uploads I use FileZilla.
You'll need the ftp details of your host. Just modify the image and re-upload overwriting your old one.

Edit: You shouldn't need a html editor (Notepad++ might as well do. Code is simple to understand).
Instantsite thingie should have a WYSIWYG editor built in for you, which'll do all the html tags.

Just found the answer to my problem, and tbh i'm shocked.

Head Banner enables you to choose a head banner from the set of images available in the Wizard. You cannot use your own images as head banners.

Well thats a load of fun for a business site, pah i'm going to complain and get my money back.

Thanks for nothing 123reg

Have a read up on HTML and CSS, you should then be able to cope with downloading template and editing ti to suit.
